HP is one thing, TQ is another. TQ will rip your motor apart I know of at least one motor that let go at 450wtq - rod bearings. That said, I wouldn't push a stock block beyond 420-425 tq and maybe 450 whp or so. I am aware that on stock internals, it's kind of a hit or miss type of deal, but if I can get an idea that'd be great...I'm just looking to get an idea of some numbers here so that I know if i'll really need to forge the motor.Tuning, HP -Max HP -No life span loss. Stock internals are pretty weak, but they will survive the pressure up to 7 psi, and you will be able to drive a little in this mode. However, it is better to do everything properly.
Jun 30, 2011 · Back to the question from matt the most hp recorded was set by my buddy mike last yr at 680hp on stock internals and stock turbo housing but was bored and bigger wheels. Now its making 750 on a bigger turbo on 40 psi but that billet build is straight NASTY.
